Sister-in-Law Visiting

This week the Sister In Law and her two young children, aged 6 and 4, arrived for a visit.  The house is currently full of children, which is a good thing.  They are fun to have around and our girls love playing with them.  They are also the source of great stories.

Earlier in the week Marie, Kaylee and my Sister-In-Law went to the store, leaving me alone with the four younger children.  We decided to play Hide-and-Seek.  I am 'It', of course, and after searching (not too hard) I decide to let them 'win'.  So, I shout out "Wow, you sure are good hiders.  I'm going to count to ten and then I'll just give up.'

"1", I say.  "2", I call out.  "5", I call out, trying to be funny.

Suddenly, a small voice from behind the couch hollers, "No, 3 comes next!"
