Today the girls and I attended the Lakewood Fire Muster. We had a good time visiting the booths and taking part in the activities. In particular, the girls enjoyed the area where they pick out a bear, then send the bear to see "the doctor". There they don a hair net, surgeon's mask, and gloves and "treat" the bear listening with stethoscopes, etc. It was fun.
Marie was also there manning the Macaroni Kid booth. Not many people from Broomfield attended, Lakewood is just a bit too far south. However, it is a single day event and only 5 hours. The weather was great, up until the last half hour when rain threatened. While the vendors packed up, the girls and I headed to Which Wich for lunch.
Otherwise, it's been a busy time at work. We struggle to accomplish things with what little resources we ahve available. It is a testament to our team the successes we have. Otherwise, there is not much else to report.
